With the CNC-milled swiing Pully for Piaggio engines with mono gearbox you get a smooth running pulley: less vibration, better grip and longer life for the v-belt are noticeable improvements compared to conventional, pressed steel pulleys.
The swiing pulleys are available in different diameters to control acceleration and top speed: a smaller pulley provides higher top speed, but reduces traction. Vice versa, a larger pulley increases pull / traction, but decreases top speed. Different v-belt lengths are required for this! The following belt lengths are recommended by the manufacturer:
55 - 60mm pulley: 913mm for Piaggio Ciao
55 - 60mm pulley: 1075mm for Piaggio SI
70 - 80mm pulley: 935mm for Piaggio Ciao
70 - 80mm pulley: 1090mm for Piaggio SI
85 - 95mm pulley: 950-960mm for Piaggio Ciao
85 - 95mm pulley: 1100mm for Piaggio SI
