Schmitt has clearly defined the focus here: familiar quality, modern production and the old look. For best performance, Schmitt recommends running this cylinder with an 85/10 moped carburetor.
100% original timing as well as channel and combustion chamber geometry. The engine performance corresponds to the original part. The cylinder is manufactured using the die-casting process and therefore has a great surface finish. Thanks to the precisely manufactured 3 mm gray cast iron liner, the cylinder is durable, can be rebuilt several times and has a very long product life. Original splash-proof deco connection with O-ring seal.
The piston is manufactured with the original profile contour from an aluminum alloy with 18% silicon content. The maximum mileage and very good emergency running properties are enhanced by two piston rings with different thicknesses, just like the original. During the running-in phase, the printed molybdenum disulphide coating additionally supports and protects the sliding properties of the new piston.
